LISTED conglomerate SM Investments Corp. (SMIC) said on Wednesday its board of administrators has accredited a plan to elevate P50 billion in the bond market over a span of three years to fund the group’s growth plans.
SMIC stated the P50-billion constant rate bond program can be registered underneath the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) shelf registration program.
Under shelf registration, corporations can searching for a one-time popularity of their huge fund-raising programs and then provide the bonds in tranches over a three-year period.
